The Moka variety is one of the oldest in the world and comes from Yemen and its name comes from one of the main ports at that time called Al-Mukha.
A balanced coffee with medium-low acidity, good body and predominant notes of chocolate.
Description
From 1536 onwards, most of the coffees consumed throughout Europe and modern Turkey were prepared with beans grown exclusively in Yemen. Historians suggest that Arabs introduced coffee to Yemen, probably through Sufi monks, who took advantage of the caffeine present in coffee to stay alert during religious rituals that lasted all night.
